Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. She is an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English heritage. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's previous marriage. After living with her parents in Buenos Aires for six years The family moved to Victoria. According to Taylor-Joy, the relocation was difficult and she refused to master English to the hope of moving back to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed to Northlands and then Hill House. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London in which she attended ballet classes as well as participated in plays. At the age of 16, she left school to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actor from a young age. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
