Kelly Clarkson is an American musician and singer who has become the nation's favorite after winning the American Idol title in the premiere season. The win not only catapulted her to stardom however, it also secured the singer a multi-album contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings and S Records. In the years since the win, she's released a variety of studio albums. In these albums that were released, three made the US Billboard 200 Chart while others were only two centimeters from. She's among the most popular stars to come out of American Idol. As her career progressed and she started to experiment with different themes and styles of music. She often co-wrote songs with her husband to express her feelings. As a tribute to her talent and distinctiveness, she's been rewarded with a variety of accolades and awards. The most notable accomplishment is the fact that she was awarded 3 Grammy awards. In addition to her work in the field of music, she has also been featured on film and television. She also co-wrote the children's storybook River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been associated with various charitable organizations.
