Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is an American actor, singer, writer and producer. Her most recognizable part is that of Tara Maclay, in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In addition to that she's directed, produced and performed in her own film Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Additionally, she was the bride in the Kiss the Bride movie. Benson was born on January 8, 1977. She was born in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Danielle, her sister is an accomplished artist. Benson has a father who is Jewish while her mother is Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson has appeared on Morganville The Series and in The Killing Jar since Buffy's closing. Benson also utilised her talents in writing for her own show, the Ghosts of Albion Series and was the director of Drones in 2010.
