Lisa Edelstein was an American actress who is best known as the star of Fox's House medical series. When she turned 18, Lisa moved into New York City from Wayne which was where she was affixed to strict Jewish traditions. She quickly became part of the New York club scene. Her shows were so impressive that local media took notice. The singer used her musical training and fame to write and perform in a new musical, Positive Me. Her first gig was on MTV as the anchor of Awake on The Wild Side shortly after. After it was taken off air, she was able to appear in television and film productions at first in small roles but then gradually becoming an actress.
